Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is processed when you visit PlayLoft, why it is processed, and the choices you have. Last updated: November 2, 2026.
1. The short version
PlayLoft is a static website. We do not offer accounts, comments, newsletters or contact forms, and we do not ask you to submit personal information. The site itself does not set first-party advertising cookies. However, our hosting provider, advertising partners and the third-party game publishers embedded in game pages may process limited technical data such as your IP address, browser details and approximate location in order to deliver and secure their services.
2. Information we process
Server and CDN logs
Our site is served through a content delivery network. When you request a page, the network automatically records technical information such as your IP address, the requested URL, the date and time of the request, the referring page, your browser type and operating system. This information is used to deliver content, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors and measure aggregate traffic. It is not used to identify individual visitors.
Local browser storage
The site does not use cookies for its own features. The search page keeps your query in the page URL so that a shared link opens with the same search term; that value is not stored anywhere on our side. If we add a preference feature later, any storage used will be described here before it is enabled.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Advertising partners — which may include Google AdSense, Ezoic or other networks — can use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure campaign performance and, where you have consented, personalise advertising. These partners operate under their own privacy policies. You can review Google’s practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where required by law, a consent notice is presented before non-essential advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice through that notice or your browser settings. Our authorized advertising sellers are listed in the ads.txt file at the root of this domain.
Third-party game frames
Game pages embed games from third-party publishers, primarily GameMonetize and GameArter. When you start a game, the publisher’s servers load content in an iframe and may process your IP address, device information, gameplay events and advertising identifiers according to their own policies. We do not receive a copy of that gameplay data. The publisher’s privacy policy and terms apply for the duration of your play session.
3. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or equivalent law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests: serving the site securely, preventing abuse, measuring aggregate traffic and displaying contextual advertising that does not rely on personal data.
- Consent: setting non-essential advertising cookies or using personal data for personalised advertising, where consent is required.
- Legal obligation: retaining information where we are required to do so by applicable law.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. You can exercise advertising choices through the consent notice, your browser settings, or the opt-out links in section 5.
To make a request, email [email protected]. Please include enough detail for us to understand the request. We may need to verify that a request relates to you before acting on it, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
5. Advertising and cookie choices
You can limit or disable advertising cookies in several ways:
- Use the consent notice shown on the site, where one is presented.
- Change your browser settings to block third-party cookies or clear existing cookies.
- Use Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com to control personalised advertising.
- Use industry opt-out tools such as optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
Blocking cookies does not prevent you from playing games, but it may make advertising less relevant and may affect how often you see the same ad.
6. Children
PlayLoft is a general-audience entertainment site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us or to a publisher embedded on this site, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including removing the relevant listing where necessary.
7. Retention
Technical logs held by our hosting and CDN provider are retained for the short period needed for security, diagnostics and aggregate reporting, after which they are deleted or aggregated. Advertising partners retain data according to their own retention schedules. Because we do not operate accounts, we generally hold no personal profile about you that could be edited or deleted on request.
8. International transfers
Our hosting, advertising and game partners may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, those parties rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms for international transfers.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and is distributed through a reputable CDN. We keep the software footprint small and avoid collecting data we do not need. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information involved in operating the site.
10. Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting it, the site does not currently change its behaviour in response. You can use the cookie controls described above instead.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, our partners or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on the site where practical.
